6th Annual Juneteenth Celebration-Free Event

Contemporary Art Center of Peoria’s Juneteenth Celebration, on Saturday, June 20, 6:30-8:30pm, will feature three presenters: Chama St. Louis-Boone, a national organizing strategist and coalition builder, spoken word poet Constance Jackson and exhibiting artist Robert Anthony Ketchens who will share about his paintings reflecting the social complexities of the African diaspora.
Bloomington-based band Soft Spoken featuring vocalist Jamika Russell will provide smooth R&B/Soul music. We are grateful to Weston Meuth for sponsoring the band.
The public is invited to this free event at Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, in the Preston Jackson Gallery on 2nd floor of the building. Press 2R in the elevator. No food or drink will be offered but guests may bring their own food and drink.
