Decorative Paste Papers
Instructor: Peggy West
Department: Other
There is a long tradition in bookbinding of using beautiful decorative papers for book covers and end papers. You can make these papers yourself using the paste paper technique! In this workshop, participants will learn how to make the paste mix and use a variety of brushes and tools to create beautiful and unique patterns on paper. Once dry, these papers can be pressed, folded and cut for a variety of book making purposes. There will be plenty of room to experiment to achieve unique results. No prior experience necessary.
