Grand Glen Oak Avenue Tour

Meet at Flanagan House at 942 Glen Oak to begin the tour. Enjoy a close up look at homes from Wayne Street to Wisconsin. These homes were designed by some of Peoria's premier architects, including our own Frederick Klein. Learn why Judge Flanagan came to Peoria and how his impressive home was built in 1837. Flanagan House is the oldest home in the city. See the home of John Gift and a pair of mirror image Victorian homes.  Drive to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church and park there. There are a number of historically significant homes that most of us have never even walked by!
