This event takes individuals and teams through the preventative steps necessary to handle a variety of situations that can arise. Training covers the basics of verbal de-escalation, defensive tactics, ushers/greeter roles, offering, securing the children, selecting volunteers, armed vs. unarmed, an afternoon of scenarios to practice what you have learned and a forum to ask the questions you may have. Come prepared to learn with your team and with others in your community.
Friday night is from 6pm to 9pm. Saturday is 8am to 4pm.
