Journaling to Destress for Teens
Instructor: Marisa Bernotti
Department: 2D
Creativity is a mental process that arises from the imagination and serves to provide original solutions to the different situations that arise in our lives. It is generating ideas, joining concepts, looking for different paths, different solutions to something that we have to solve.
Creativity serves to reinforce self-esteem, autonomy and security. Improves communication skills, social relationships and integration as a person.
In addition, creativity helps us to adapt to changing and dynamic environments such as the reality in which we live.
With all this we can say that creativity improves our quality of life.
Stress is one of the most annoying and paralyzing sensations, creating art in any of its manifestations can reduce our stress levels, regardless of the artistic discipline we choose.
You don't have to be a great artist to create your own works, you just have to cheer yourself up, you have to find the way and the ways to stop and make a little space in your time to get away from technology, screens, mobiles and the hustle and bustle of the day .
