This talk will explore the history, programs, and collections of the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass, home to the world’s largest and most representative collection of glass paperweights on public display, including antique millefiori treasures designed by French glass houses and contemporary lamp-worked paperweights resembling real biological specimens. Since 2011, the Neenah, Wisconsin-based museum has increased its holding of contemporary studio glass, now boasting a regular-exhibition schedule and a permanent collection of more than 300 works.

Casey Eichhorn has served as the Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass since 1028. He earned an M.A. in Museum Studies with an emphasis in collections registration/management from Baylor University and a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass, he served as the Captain Robert K. Mitchell Education Programs Manager at the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum.
