Choose a member or nonmember level ticket. ONLY Members of Contemporary Art Center may purchase member level tickets. A member purchasing tickets on behalf of a nonmember must choose a nonmember ticket. A ‘Friend’ membership is for an individual, entitling only that individual to receive a discount. A ‘Family’ membership would entitle the individual and members of their household (defined as a spouse and any children under 16 years of age living at the same address) to receive a discount. Therefore, buying member level tickets for friends is not included, even if you obtain a membership.

When checking in at the door, be prepared to share your table and seat number.

It is our policy not to refund tickets if someone is unable to attend; nor will we transfer tickets to another event for the same reason. We will offer full refunds if the event is cancelled or if the contents of an event changed, for example, if the scheduled feature poet/band cancels.

Water and pop for $1.00 is offered at the bar. Attendees may bring their own food and drink or bring in food and drink from the Rhythm Kitchen.

About the band:

Turas is a traditional Irish band from central and northwestern Illinois that has brought music from the "auld sod" to audiences from Chicago to St. Louis and in between for over 10 years. Running the gamut from contemporary and traditional ballads and pub anthems to lively instrumentals, Turas invokes the spirit of the rich Irish music traditions, while conveying an energetic 21st century musical style. Members include: Mike Bergstrom: bouzouki, guitar, vocals; AnneMarie Brinton: vocals, guitar, percussion; Jeff Calhoun: vocals, banjo, mandolin, guitar; Lauri Gannon: whistle, bodhran, accordion, stomp board; Sarah Riskind: fiddle, vocals; Rose Fahey Wright: flute, whistle, percussion, vocals
