In Woodcarving III, we switch gears and focus on carving anatomy in the form of Wood Spirit Walking Sticks. Each student will complete and take home a hand carved wood spirit walking stick. Wood Spirits are steeped in lore and have been a favorite subject or woodcarvers for hundreds of years. Lots of fun, but it’s also the beginning of learning to carve the human face. Focusing on carving eyes and noses.
Prerequisite: Completion of Woodworking 1 and 2 or approval by Instructor

Required Materials: Set of 6 Detail chisels provided in Woodcarving 1
All classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Students will be notified of class cancellation by 2 pm the day before class. Students can either retain a credit toward a future class or receive a full refund in 3-5 business days.
All public parking in Downtown Peoria is limited to 2 hour parking Monday- Friday 8 am - 5 pm. You may park along the streets in metered spots, or park in various public lots for free for 2 hours. Please see a map here of available public parking lots.
Parking is free anywhere after 5 pm Monday- Friday, or anytime on the weekends.
